Ben & Meg impress at U13 inter county xc champs

The very last of the seasons cross country events took place yesterday at Pophaim Airfield with the South East inter-counties cross country championships for those in schools years 6, 7 & 8 only.

The clubs athletes were running for Hampshire schools and in the U13 girls race the first Hampshire athlete home was Meg Hulbert in 9th place.  This is a great result for Meg who is still in primary school with the majority of runners in their first year in secondery school.  Isabelle Robinson was 68th.

In the U13 boys race, Ben Brown was the 2nd Hampshire athlete to finish in 7th place and like Meg, Ben is also still in primary school.  Matt Dyer was 11th and Tommy Brammer 34th.

In the U14 girls race, Elizabeth Adamson was the first Hampshire athlete home in 9th with Olivia Reavey the 2nd Hampshire athlete to finish in 18th, Margot Broome was 50th.

None of the clubs athletes took part in the U14 boys race and full results are available through the following link to the Hampshire Atheltics website.
