The 4th and last of this seasons popular sportshall grand prix took place on Wednesday at Fareham Academy.
For the U11 boys, Joshua Vaughan, Jacob Bradley, Toby Roberts and Jack Bessant were 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th respectively.
In the U11 girls age group, Meg Hulbert won the event with Gracie Jenvey in 3rd. Keira Bessant was joint 10th, Ellie Thatcher joint 13th, Eve Emm 15th and Bethany Friend 17th.
The club took the first 3 places in the U13 boys event with Bradley Jenvey winning by a point from Jack McDonald with Callum Gregson in joint 3rd. Oliver Thatcher was 5th, Oliver Miell 6th (despite being an U11) and Ben Vaughan and Nathan Travers joint 8th.
It was the top 4 in the U13 girls event with Elisha Parham in 1st, Tabitha Proudley 2nd, Ettie Hammiond 3rd and Elizabeth Adamson in 4th. Hollie Roberts was 10th.
There were no competitors in the U15 boys age group but Emma Hunter was 2nd and Freya Coe joint 4th for the U15 girls. Reiss Jarvis won the U17 mens event.

The Hampshire sportshall league concluded for the season with the 4th and final match in Portsmouth on Sunday with the club having one of their best ever seasons.
Last Sunday no fewer than 16 U13 athletes and 4 U15’s from the club represented Hampshire at the South East regional sportshall finals at Burgess Hill. This is remarkable given that there were 37 young athletes representing the county with more than half of these coming from Southampton AC.
Both the boys & girls U13’s won the event and will therefore compete in the national sportshall finals in Manchester on the 16 & 17th April. This was also true of the U15 girls team.
for the U13 girls, Elizabeth Adamson, Jasmyn Allen, Emily Eades-Scott, Grace Griffiths, Ettie Hammond, Elisha Parham and Tabitha Proudley were part of the winning team.
In the U13 boys winning team were Liam Higgins, Bradley Jenvey, Navi Korai, Jack McDonald, Wilf McKenzie, Oliver Thatcher, Nathan Travers, Ben Vaughan and Riley Woodman.
Freya Coe, Emma Hunter and Amaya Scott were part of the U15 girls team that won the event and George Rosam represented the U15 boys team.
