Important information about entry to the first fixture:

Entries for the match must be made on an individual athlete basis via the SportSoft website. Entries will open on 22 October and close on 28 October. Cost will be £4.00 each. They are limited to England Athletics registered members of clubs that have affiliated to the Hampshire Cross Country League by 21 October.

Only runners who have entered in this way will be allowed to run.
You MUST be a fully paid SAC athlete with valid England Athletic registration to compete. SAC preregister all athletes with the Hampshire League who check that registations are valid. If you are registering for the Cross country please can you also inform Nicci Bollinger (Blandford) ( for Girls/Ladies or Richie Pearson ( ) for boys/men.

Note that, due to time constraints, there will be no Under 11 races.

Numbers and wristbands will be sent to each athlete’s home address by post. Athletes arriving without these items will not be allowed to run. Entry numbers are restricted but should accommodate the usual size of field for the League. The entry process will have to be repeated for subsequent fixtures, in order to control tracing.

Team managers and others accompanying the athletes will need to sign in and provide contact details for tracing. In order to maintain the Covid safe status of the venue, the numbers of such people should be kept to a minimum.

The races will be run in waves and finishing positions will be decided on times. The meeting organiser will grade the waves as far as possible, to achieve a competitive experience. In accordance with Covid guidelines, no results will be displayed on the day.

A copy of the organiser’s risk assessment can be downloaded. Note that this includes course details, can be found on the Hampshire Athletics Website
