The 7th and last of this seasons CC6 cross country league races took place at Wilverely Plain in the New Forest yesterday. Graham Fisher won the mens race as he had done race 6 and he was followed by teammates Tom Cully in 4th, Sam Costley in 6th and brother Max in 9th to take the mens team race on the day. This ensured the mens team wrapped up the overall league team title. Also on the day Jon Hannan was 26th, Jon Ward 29th, John MacInnes 42nd, Chairman Richie Pearson in 63rd, Pete Haynes in 69th and Steve Till in 75th. you needed to complete 4 races to qualify for the individual league standings which Richard Waldron had already done with a perfect score of 4 wins from 4 to take the overall individual mens league title. Tom Cully was 5th overall, Ashley Forbes 7th and Rob Dempster 8th. Jon Hannan was equal 17th, Jon Ward 24th and Steve Till 78th.
Lynne Massey was the only woman to take part in race 7 and finished 33rd and was also the only woman to run in the requsite 4 races to qualify for an overall league position and took a fine 20th place in the overall league standings. The womens team finished 9th in the overall league team standings.
