Henson to be British flag bearer at world champs opening ceremony

Dave Henson has been chosen to carry the British flag at tomorrow’s opening ceremony of the IPC world championships in Doha. Dave who was originally chosen for the T42 100m & 200m sprint double is now going to concentrate on the 200m of which the semi-finals takes place a week today on the 27th October with the final a day later.

Former St George schoolboy Dave is targetting a top 5 finish in a 13 strong field which includes teammate and reigning world and paralympic champion Richard Whitehead.
