I am pleased to report that after a long hiatus the Hampshire Road Race League is back for 2021/2022. It is both an individual and team competition for affiliated clubs (circa 30) throughout Hampshire . An exception is the City of Salisbury Athletics and running club. Due to geographical reasons Salisbury are allowed to compete within the league and in return provide the Hampshire runners with an excellent 10 mile race despite being in Wiltshire themselves. There are a number of divisions and Southampton Athletic Club will again field two teams , the mens team will compete in Division 1 whilst the ladies were relegated prior to lockdown so will likely take their place in Division 2. It was decided at an early 2020 meeting that the rules relating to team scorers would be changed so that both mens and ladies teams would in future need to have to have four finishers in order to have a complete team for scoring purposes. Previously it was four and three.

Below is the list of HRRL fixtures for the 2021/22 season. Unfortunately the Hayling 10 will not be able to take place this year.
